The new Porsche 911 Carrera

Unsurpassed Sportiness and Efficiency: The Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK)

The optional Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) has been systematically enhanced for the new 911 Carrera models. It combines the sportiness of a manual transmission with the comfort of an automatic torque converter with even greater efficiency. Gear changes involve no interruption in tractive power, which is reflected in even better acceleration than with the manual transmission. To achieve this, it offers both a manual and an automatic mode.

Thanks to the combination of functions and systems enhancing both efficiency and power, the new 911 Carrera models achieve the following improvements in fuel consumption and performance:
